Camp Policies
Weekly Fees:
Weekly camp fees include all field trips, sports, and camp sponsored
activities. We recommend that you register your child early since
space is limited. Weekly fees should be paid at least one week in
advance. Counselors are unable to accept payments. All payments
must be made in the Camp Office.
Please Note: All weekly fees must be pre-paid, prior to the Monday
of the week your child will attend.
3 & 4 Year Olds (Tiny Tots Program):
All Campers ages 3 & 4 are able to participate in a Half Day or a Full
Day Program. The Half-Day Program runs from 8am to 12 pm, and the
Full Day runs from 8am to 4pm. Tiny Tots do not go on the weekly
field trips that the older children go on. They do participate in
most of the scheduled camp activities, as well as other activities
specifically designed for their age group. The lunch program may
be purchased for all children in the half or full day program. A
schedule of weekly activities will be posted every Monday morning.
Tiny Tots should bring the following to camp: a bag with a change
of clothes, a sleeping bag if staying full day and a labeled snack each day.
Please Note: All children attending Camp Rejoice must be potty trained.
Early Morning Drop Off Program:
The Early Morning Drop Off Program is a weekly program. In order
to sign up your child for this program the fee should be pre-paid
with the weekly fee. Morning drop off will begin at 7am. Children
dropped off before 8am will be placed in morning care and the $10
weekly fee will apply.
Please Note: All children in the Early Morning Drop Off Program
must be singed in daily.
After Camp Program:
The After Camp Program is a weekly program. In order to sign up
your child for this program the fee should be pre-paid with the
weekly fee. A light snack will be provided for the children at 4:30pm.
All children MUST be picked up by 6P.M. If your child is not picked
up by 6P.M., a charge of $10 for every 10 minutes will apply.
Lunch and Snacks:
Camp Rejoice has contracted a catering company that will provide
quality lunch to the children. In order to sign up your child for
the lunch program the lunch fee must be pre-paid with the weekly
fee. We are unable to sell lunches on a daily basis. Snacks and
drinks may be purchased daily at camp. Snacks include: ice pops,
chips, candy, etc.
What to bring and not to bring to Camp:
Everything your child brings to Camp should have his/her name on
it. Your child may want to bring a bag with sunscreen, a towel,
a water bottle, snack, money for snacks and sometimes a change of
clothes. Children, who are not signed up for the lunch program,
should bring a bagged lunch. Camp Rejoice takes pride in keeping
the children entertained. Please do not bring any toys or games
to camp; this includes Gameboy's and Pokeman cards.
3 & 4 year old campers should bring a mat to sleep on at naptime.
Parents might also want to send snack daily as well as a change
of clothes to keep at camp in case of an emergency. 3 & 4 year
olds participate in water play each Friday. Please send kids in
bathing suit and send a towel with change of clothes.
Birthday Parties:
All summer birthday children are welcome to celebrate their birthdays
at Camp. Parents should notify the Camp Directors in advance so
that arrangements can be made.
Camp T-shirts and Camp Bags:
It is advisable that your child wears the Camp T-shirt for field
trips, especially on Fridays. All Campers will be provided with
one T-shirt when they register, and additional T-shirts and Camp
bags may be purchased through the Camp office.
Visiting Camp Rejoice/Chaperoning Field Trips:
All parents are welcome to go on all field trips, and/or to visit
the campus at any time. Parents must report to the Camp Office once
they arrive at Camp if they wish to stay for an activity or go on
a field trip. Parents attending field trips will be asked to drive
themselves to the location, as well as pay for their entry.
Field Trips:
Upon registering your child, you completed and signed a permission
slip that allows your child to participate in all Camp activities
and field trips. The Camp s weekly schedule will be posted every
Monday morning on the Camp bulletin board. All children age 5 and
up leave the Campus for weekly field trips. If you do not want your
child to go on a/any field trip(s), you should make arrangements
with one of the Camp Directors and notify the counselor the day
of the field trip. Activities are planned for those children staying
on Campus. All scheduled field trips are subject to change.
Medications:
If your child is in need of medicines or medications, please contact
the Camp Directors to make necessary arrangements.
Refund Policy:
All Camp fees are non-refundable. Camp Rejoice needs to pre-pay
many of the Camp activities, field trips, lunches, etc. Therefore,
once a fee has been received we will be unable to issue a refund.
This includes: the registration fee, weekly fee, lunch fee and Morning/After
Camp program fee.
